The recent two weeks I have worked on new stands for my bonsai display in the garden. Also fences have been updated, and the Japanese garden with bonsai attached are now updated to version 2.0 🙂
Dianne Boekhout from Australia, paid a visit today, as she and her family went to Denmark for a few days after a family wedding in Sweden recently. A very nice talk about bonsai and stuff, shohin of course, and bonsai situation in Denmark versus Australia. Funny to hear how far people travels in Australia to attend a bonsai seminar at the other side of the country, when people around here find it a problem to move themselves only two or three hours in car as the widest distance.
We had a look into the new bonsai area too of course. Nice to expand the friendship with people around the world, who takes their time to do a friendly visit. Dianne even brought two nice Australian bonsai pots, so I of course let her bring back home a small special shohin pot to Pert in Australia.
The bonsai area now is viewable from the new terrace, bringing the scenery closer and finishing the main part of the Japanese inspired garden with bonsai display area. This way we can enjoy the bonsai and garden from the house, making a quiet and calm scenery part of the daily life.
