Kisetsu-en | Shohin Bonsai Europe

In 2005 the first version of the website was launched to promote shohin bonsai and bonsai.
The Kisetsu-en (Seasonal garden) is located in Northern Europe in Denmark.
The bonsai garden of Morten Albek, presents a collection of bonsai with shohin, middle and larger trees.
The variety of specimens is broad with a fine collection of Kusamono added. The focus is on a seasonal approach.

International acknowledged bonsai artist Morten Albek is the owner of KISETSU-EN.
Kisetsu-en, the garden of the seasons, is located in Denmark. Morten Albek is specialized in Shohin and middle-sized bonsai, but the collection includes from the very small to large trees, including forest style bonsai. Deciduous, as well as coniferous bonsai, are included.
Kisetsu-en Bonsai Online is a learning platform. With a membership, you get access to monthly tutorials and get direct response o your questions about bonsai.
In 2007 he published the first book in the west fully dedicated to the art of Shohin Bonsai (Shohin Bonsai, majesty in miniature). In 2020 the second book “Shohin – Through the Seasons” was published.
Numerous articles have been published in international bonsai magazines throughout the world. Morten Albek also publishes bonsai tutorials at the Kisetsu-en Online Bonsai school that is available through the website.
Workshops and demonstrations
