I noticed that there are buds on my two Acer kyohime in spite of the frost. They are under cover but they do tend to start moving quite early. Everything else seems to be still asleep.
Also, Hawthorn shows signs of growth, despite being outside. Spring may arrive early but hopefully without any sudden hard frosts arriving late as we experienced before.
