Hello everyone. I will be in Japan in early March and I would love to bring back one or two shohin bonsai. Simple ones, but to speed up the long process of building the trunk. I will tout Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, takamatsu, okayama, matsue, Hiroshima and Fukuyama. I will have a car so I can go outside the cities if necessary. Do you places there that I could visit ? Thank you.
Omya village is big for bonsai nurseries as well. Problem is that you cannot bring plants back with you (unless you want to smuggle) and I am not suggesting you do! Lodders Bonsai in Holland is good for all sizes of trees, but again, a show will give plenty of choice
I had not received your answers Geoff! Thanks for the tip! I was not sure whether it would be allowed or not. What a shame…
