    Some really good trees there, I like the Chinese Elms and the Hawthorn.

    <p style=”text-align: left;”>hi geoff, thanks for your compliment on this starting material…. that one is a zelkova and not an elm
    in the future I will look more for material for shohin, actually I enjoy it more than all my big bonsai. My only problem is that I can’t grow anything in the open ground, we live in the city and only have a paved garden….. so if I want some good material then I have to buy material that has a good base</p>
