It has been raining, but it varies with where it comes. Some is very heavy and causing flooding, but we have not had much here. I did not have to rain yesterday, but I will have to today. I did re pot one of my Scots Pines today, and I will do another one tomorrow.

Yes, I have a water butt, but it only lasts for about two days, so I am back to the hose. There is the possibility of rain today or tomorrow, but the ground is very dry and it will need weeks of rain to recover.

Humidity will help, if the air is too dry then you will get them,

Yes, I am planning on going to Telford in October, but the Heathrow show is before that in September and we will have a display there,

My link did not work, yes it was great. I don’t know how many came through the door but it was busy all day. I decided not to enter a tree this time, too much work and very long day. I may think about it for next year though.

It was -2C last night and the forecast is colder tonight. The Larch can be very sensitive, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I can’t cover all of them. Most Maples are still tight buds but the Trident is almost full leaf so it is in the shed along with the Crab apple and some smaller trees.

My tree is a mature one, and vigorous so I can do it, but for a young tree like this it needs to grow on first I would suggest.

Morten, I managed to see the products, the kit is a good idea, I may try it later this year when the weather improves,

I meant to add that I put my small trees in a tray with gravel and water in the summer, makes a big difference with moisture levels.
