Omya village is big for bonsai nurseries as well. Problem is that you cannot bring plants back with you (unless you want to smuggle) and I am not suggesting you do! Lodders Bonsai in Holland is good for all sizes of trees, but again, a show will give plenty of choice

There are lots of good potters around, and some good Chinese pots too. The European Bonsai potters collective (think I got that right) have a lot. Also a show is a good place to find pots. Morten mentioned one last night in the Q&A and in the unwrapping video recently. Ad with most things you get what you pay for, quality costs.

It is quite difficult to tell what branches are in there. But it does need thinning quite a lot and wired. I assume that is your front, I wonder what the other side is like?  The apex is also dense and needs thinning and wiring and I would bring it to the left. Why don’t you send pics to Morten and come into the Q and A next Thursday when more members could make suggestions? I will be on as well as others. It is a nice tree, as for moss I look for moss and  put a thin layer on the surface.

It will not be easy to keep it this size, I am letting it grow at the moment, then I will prune back

Trees are looking good, I will take some of mine, bit busy today but do it tomorrow. My Satuski are a bit late this year. I am still counting the casualties as well.

Interesting, we don’t see many in the open countryside though. The one we have in the garden grows but is not spreading much.

Love the almost Friday video! Also the Cotoneaster stream, I have never heard that Cotoneaster is regarded as invasive here, We can buy them in garden centres, I have one in the garden as well.

Nice job Morten, looks good. I don’t have the space to do one,

Good pictures of a great workshop, well worthwhile and my trees look much better than before.

Yes, I am told there was about 800 through the door paid, plus all the exhibitors and trader close to 1000. More than last time, it was crowded even though it is a big hall.
