The deciduous bonsai repotting season is open
The clock ticks. And time runs as we are busy repotting deciduous trees.
Spring trimming the last details before the leaves open. The repotting game for deciduous is on full speed. Trident maple is ready for new soil and a root trim.
The old Shohin Hawthorn isn’t repotted this year. It grows steadily and slowly as it ages.
Funny to think of this tree have been nursed and developed from a very simple ordinary garden centre material. 20 years later it is mature, with old cracky bark. Looks like it plans to flower this season. Let’s see 🙂
