Spring Bonsai Q&A Thursday
Spring has sprung very early this season so there is a lot to do fast regarding repotting if not done already. As usual the last Thursday of the month is Live Q&A time.
Send in questions and pictures up front here https://shohin-europe.com/live/ if you like, or just jump in at 8 PM (UTC +1) on Thursday, March 28.
Hawthorn setting new leaves and flowers.
All bonsai repottings are done now, leaving a little time to concentrate on accents. Companion plantings for bonsai can be developed for that purpose only, but they are also a very nice addition to the bonsai in the garden. Now is a good time to think about repotting or finding new interesting annuals because repotting and root pruning can be done safely.
The sun is heating the air and trees start showing leaves. This time of the year I value as much as I enjoy the autumn and its colours. Be sure to join the Live Q&A on Thursday.

Morten I plan to be on the call and want to physically show you my Trident Maple and how much it has emerged, to determine if it’s too late to re-pot. Thanks Jon
