Black pines back budding
In yesterdays newsletter we somehow managed to leave out the info about the Japanese black pine video coming up. So here it goes.
Pines in general are one of the most challenging species to cope with. Mostly because of the often misunderstood techniques used when it comes to candle pinching or pruning. Why, when and what to do?
It all depend on the goal and what exact variety we are dealing with. Maybe pines are the one species that demands the most different techniques to achieve compact growth and back budding. And each one is different.
The Japanese black and red pines are equal regarding these techniques, and in the tutorial it is explained exactly what to do and how to force back budding on your black and red pines.
